Janet Sios started her career as a chartered accountant before starting the Frangipani Group.
She next teamed up with her husband, Dr Robin Sios, to take over the operation of Paradise Private Hospital (PPH) in Port Moresby, making it PNG's first nationally-owned private hospital.The 40-bed hospital has grown from a humble start to becoming a leader in specialized health care services, treating over 50,000 patients a year and employing over 120 staff.
Mrs. Janet Sios is a highly respected community leader and advocate for women's rights in Papua New Guinea. She has dedicated her life to empowering women and girls in her country, working tirelessly to promote gender equality and improve access to education and healthcare. Mrs. Sios is known for her courage, determination, and compassion, and has inspired countless individuals through her leadership and advocacy. She is a true trailblazer in her community and a shining example of the transformative power of dedicated individuals working towards a common goal.
Mrs Scholar Kapsuk is a graduate from College of Distance Education in Port Moresbyl, she has over 20 years of work experience in various companies across PNG. She has been Frangipani Printing Services Business Head for the past 10 years.
Under her astute leadership, the Frangipani Printing Services business has grown at a rapid rate. She oversees the Print Hub at Vision City Mall, the Bulk Printing Center at 9 Mile and our Specialty Printing, which also comprises of merchandise items as well as Value added services in the Printing business.
Graduated from Don Bosco Technological Institute (Bachelors in Electronics & Communications)5+ years experience & Exposure in Sales and marketing with Airtime ,Digital advertising, Real Estate and Printing services business. Team Leader for Frangipani printing Solutions required to bring in new business and maintain client relationship and manage marketing portfolio.
I have a Bachelor in Business (Commerce) from Central QLD University and Bachelor in Arts (Political Science and International Relations) from University of QLD.
Spending over 20 years in Australia working for Thiess Pty Ltd one of the biggest Mining companies in Australia (their services include construction and sustainable services) as part of the financial department team.
I also have experience in system and system development spending some time at Aurion, which is a leading HR and Payroll Solutions (software company) based also in Brisbane.
I also founded and lead the Woman's movement against violence in PNG, abroad in Brisbane City. Helping to organise the Haus Cry March after the death of Leniata and other high profile female deaths at the time. Including a stint promoting cultural change in PNG towards violence against woman which included implementing UN Woman's ending violence against woman programs at Baruni Primary School.
I have a passion for PNG people and culture. PNG fashion provides me an avenue to put this passion into workable practice.
With over 6 years experience with PNG Fashion and Design Week Ltd, I have taken the lead in Workshop Logistics and supporting Mrs Sios to accomplish her goals. The workshops in particular is very close to my heart as it has meant putting money into PNG woman and man's hands to support their families. We have also assisted in providing income for people living with disabilities which has really been a game changer for me. I truly feel blessed and appreciative for the opportunity to be a part of Mrs Sios dreams to give back to Papua New Guinea it's been a privilege.
I am currently exploring my creative side by assisting with design for Kabala our in house brand and also looking at expanding into film making.
Letty Lassi, an esteemed member of the Frangipani Car Hire team since 2007. Letty began her journey with the company as an Administration Clerk, showcasing her exceptional organizational skills and dedication. In 2016, due to her exemplary performance, she was promoted to the role of Team Leader, a position she holds to this day.
As a Team Leader, Letty's primary focus lies in providing exceptional service to the Hire Car Customers. With her extensive experience and friendly demeanor, she ensures that each customer's needs are met and that their experience with Frangipani Car Hire is seamless and enjoyable.
In addition to her customer-facing responsibilities, Letty also takes charge of overseeing the printing operations and serves as a liaison to the Director. Her keen eye for detail and strong communication skills enable her to coordinate printing projects efficiently, ensuring that clients receive high-quality materials that meet their specifications.
